Description: The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Northern Nevada s #1 Destination Resort, has an outstanding opportunity for a Human Resources/Benefits Representative. Ideal applicants will have the ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills. Bi-lingual a plus!
Duties: ? High volume telephone duties including taking detailed messages and answering questions.
? Data entry, maintain various spreadsheets and prepare a variety of correspondence.
? Maintain Human Resource department files as well as confidential benefit files.
? Assist new hires with intake paperwork and health plan enrollment paperwork.
? Assist departing Team Members with return of company property and questions regarding the health plan transition from active coverage to COBRA, if applicable.
? Verify Team Member eligibility for benefits and perform periodic audits of Team Member eligibility in the medical, dental, vision and 401(k) plans.
? Report enrollment and enrollment changes to plan administrators.
? Maintain and audit insurance carrier websites to ensure accuracy of insurance coverage.
? Reconcile monthly enrollment billings.
? Reconcile payroll benefit deduction information and report any discrepancies.
? Process and monitor LOA and FMLA and associated insurance premium payments.
? Assist Team Members with questions and/or problems related to insurance coverage and claims.
? Update and maintain benefit forms and supplies.
Qualifications: ? This position requires great attention to detail when processing HR and benefits paperwork.
? High level of accuracy and confidentiality are required.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and familiarity with database systems is required.
? Familiarity with Human Resource and Employee Benefits.
? Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
? Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
? Must be customer oriented and able to work with Team Members at all levels within the organization.
