Territory Manager, Wine

**Description**


Responsible formanaging new and existing accounts. Sells wine to accounts where SGWS product is consumed on premise restaurants and bars.


**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:**


+ Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to promote SGWS product and solicit orders

+ Provide pricing information to customers

+ Provide and maintain up to date and accurate information

+ Assist and resolve customer problems and provide high customer satisfaction

+ Maintain an accurate record of all transactions

+ Maintain solid and positive working relationship with SGWS product suppliers

+ Must be able to meet sales goals and work within an established team environment

+ Assist in merchandising duties to include building and filling displays

+ Provides marketing reports in a timely manner

+ Achieve sales quotas on programmed items

+ Increase merchandising presence

+ Increase bar back, drink list and wine list percentages

+ Keep assigned customers fully stocked with Company products

+ Build SGWS brands in assigned area

+ Develop programs to help pull product through accounts


**Qualifications**


**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** :


+ Ability to drive and maintain a valid and/or current Nevada driver's license

+ Maintain at all times his/her own personal insurance with limits of bodily injury liability of at least $100,000/$300,000 and $50,000 property damage liability

+ High School diploma or GED

+ Three years wine experience in the sales, hospitality or restaurant industry

+ Strong communication skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and general data entry

+ Ability to exercise independent judgment to handle a variety of duties

+ Efficient time management skills


**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**


+ Three years sales experience, preferably at the distributor level in wine, spirits or beer

+ Experience selling in a competitive environment

+ Effective Territory Management

+ Basic knowledge of beverage operations and experience coordinating beverage promotions

+ B.A. or B.S. in business, communications or related field

+ Previous experience calling on accounts in the hospitality industry in Nevada

+ Court of Master Sommelier Certified Sommelier (Level 1) or Certified Wine Educator (CWE)
