Job Description
Hourly Wage: $20.60
Shift: 9:00 PM
JOB SUMMARY:
The PAS Technician is responsible for effective operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This individual will assist the PAS system and day to day issues that relate to operating the HMI and PAS system. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related operational procedures adhere to the client’s organizational values.This individual is accountable for the following systems: Windows based systems that support our PowerStor™ infrastructure; Windows and Application systems that support Warehouse Management; Responsibilities on these systems include system capacity and product provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual system functionality; Technical knowledge of Industrial Control systems that relate to the Warehousing System, which could include PLC’s, Variable Frequency Drives, and Industrial Ethernet communication systems.
MAIN DUTIES·Work with Power Automation Systems corporate and client management, and other internal departments to plan, organize, and direct the day to day operation of the PowerStor™ warehousing system.
·Establish objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policies and specifications.
·Monitor and control the operation of the warehousing system through administrative direction of client management to ensure maximum system efficiency.
·Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
·Perform Map inventory daily on all levels and modules to ensure inventory accuracy
·Document all delays, equipment issues, and operator errors to ensure data is present for daily meetings and communication
·Formulate reports concerning such areas as system performance, system faults or alarm situations, or system operation improvements.
·Train team and other department leads on the system
·100% safe acts of all subordinates and subcontractors
·Target Zero – lost time injuries of all subordinates and subcontractors

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

·Understanding of warehousing workflow, including planning activities.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS
·Strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of service and repair procedures and techniques and use of diagnostic equipment.
·Understanding of electrical controls, electronic and electromechanical devices.
·Sound working knowledge of MS Office Suites and MS Project.
·Excellent follow-up skills and high level of customer focus and understanding of their needs.
·Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated ability to research and resolve issues promptly. Must have a strong desire to improve the quality of the equipment through their findings.
·Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills required to be able to communicate effectively with the factory, office, and customer personnel.
·Strong writing, documentation and speaking skills.
