Job Description: Working in the engineering group of URS, the position involves working as part of a team on a wide range of projects for a diverse client portfolio, as well as performing independent analysis and design under the guidance of senior engineers. Day to day work will include client meetings, staff meetings and oversight, providing technical analyses, proposal writing, professional activities and business development.
Responsible for field exploration, data development, analysis and providing recommendations for design and construction. Knowledge of pipeline design and construction including HDD, microtunneling and ground treatments for a wide variety of pipeline materials and product media.
Interacts with civil, structural, mining, water, environmental, transportation, energy and construction departments within URS.
