Title: Product Manager, Interactive Channels
Location: UT - Salt Lake Service Cente
The Product Manager is responsible for planning, defining and managing the life-cycle of new and enhanced online and/or mobile banking products and services. As a subject matter expert, the ideal candidate will be responsible for executing product strategies; understanding the competitive landscape; developing and presenting business cases; defining, translating and prioritizing product objectives and requirements; recommending pricing strategies; and tracking the overall performance of the product. Ensures the product and marketing efforts support the company''s goals. Completes other duties as assigned.
* Plans, defines and manages the product life cycle for online and/or mobile banking products
* Conducts and analyzes the competitive landscape to ensure appropriate product direction, design, differentiation, positioning, messaging and pricing models
* Analyzes product and customer behavior trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements
* Establishes the product vision, defines product requirements, and champions the overall direction, development and launch of the product
* Collaborates with other functional areas and departments to ensure a successful product set is delivered to the market place
* Develops and presents business cases to management and stakeholders
* Develops the core positioning and messaging for the product
* Manages vendor relationships and works with third parties from a business perspective
* Creates multi-generation product plans that optimize time-to-market opportunities
* Segments and monitors target markets
* Ensures product continuity and user experience requirements are the basis of all decision making
* Works with affiliate banks to gain product direction alignment and support
* Monitors, tracks and analyzes product performance to ensure business realization benefits
* Requires a Bachelor degree in business, marketing or related field
* Four or more years successful and progressive product management experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
* Complete understanding and working knowledge of product and life-cycle management disciplines, techniques, practices and methodologies
* Demonstrated experience in setting product direction, leading projects, creating solutions, and launching successful and profitable products
* Sufficient knowledge of technology used to support products and services
* Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to analysis and resolve problems using good judgment
* Good customer relation skills
