CDL Driver- Class A needed - various industries
Overtime and travel required
Pay: $13/hr + depending on experience
We have open Class A driving positions available in various industrial work
settings. Job Duties will include the following:
* Rig up and rig down on location.
* Monitor Equipment
* Dig trenches and other manual labor.
* Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads.
* Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
* Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
* Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
* Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
* May load and unload truck.
* Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
* Prepares receipts for load picked up.
Job Requirements
* HS/GED
* All applicants will be subject to a pre-employment background check
* Applicant will be subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment
* Applicant will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
Skills:
* Will be required to work in field doing physical labor
* Work in all types of weather
* Travel may be required including overnight stays
* Willing to work overtime
* 2 years verifiable driving experience
* CDL Class A is REQUIRED
