Food and Beverage Management Trainee
Position Summary:
Participate in a comprehensive Food & Beverage rotation throughout all areas of the department, with the goal of gaining leadership experience and a comprehensive understanding of the Food & Beverage Operation.
Key learning outcomes include, but are not limited to: Leading teams, developing associates, developing food product knowledge, positively impacting guest service and food quality, understanding budgets and cost control, reading and understand profit and loss statements, recruiting and writing schedules.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Management trainees will be trained to work and lead in all areas of the Food and Beverage department, with a focus on developing leadership skills, as well as product and procedural awareness.
Time will be allocated into each area; Restaurants, Quick Service, Culinary, Safety and Compliance, Purchasing and Training and Development.

* Receives training and performs leadership duties in all segments within the F&B department

* Gain understanding of menu offerings and recipes and conduct subsequent routine quality assessments

* Learns line level staff functions, food & beverage operations, management perspectives and company policies and practices that affect each segment of F&B

* Observes and collaborates with experienced leaders to learn best practices, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties

* Lead and oversee shifts in all functional areas

* Transfer learning and grow and develop personnel

* Receive training in functions and operations of supporting departments to develop knowledge in Accounting/Finance, Sales, and Human Resources.
Background and Experience:

* 2 years' previous food and beverage experience required

* Food and beverage leadership experience preferred

* Financial knowledge in understanding budgets

* Strong communication skills, both in a verbal and written format.

* Effective organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to make quickdecisions

* Ability to work as part of a team and to develop others within the team structure

* Effective delegator, ensures that all assigned tasks are completed

* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably focused on Hospitality Management.
Physical Demands:

* Ability to sit for sustained periods of time to attend on-site and off-site meetings, perform paperwork activities, travel and drive.

* Intermittent and prolonged standing and walking to move about the park site, and interact with employees.

* Finger dexterity sufficient to complete paperwork activities and to use a computer.

* Visual acuity sufficient to read written materials, to complete paperwork activities, and to drive.

* Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals in person and by telephone.

* Requires lifting of light to moderate loads (10 to 40 lbs.) frequently.
Work Environment:
Various inside and outside locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces.
Other Requirements:

* Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to support park operations.

* Must have a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and be willing to utilize own vehicle for business purposes.
