Job Description :
Jack in the Box® is looking for an intern that wants the chance to jump into marketing intelligence and analytics! This internship will assist the development of customer profile segments, regional flavor profiles, user-friendly graphical interfaces/dashboards and sales reports to support Marketing Business Analytics in recurring and ad hoc reporting and analytics.
As an intern you will create product/region/sales performance models. Create back-end queries and automate cyclical sales reports while working with the Business Intelligence department. Develop an understanding of the relationship between data analysis, consumer behavior and overall marketing strategy.
You will have the opportunity to work with Structured Query Language (SQL) and need to have the basic knowledge of marketing cluster analyses: Recency, Frequency and Monetary (RFM) as well as Demographics (Gender, Location, Age, etc.)
You will manage the progress and completion of the projects assigned, with direction and support as needed. And work with multiple people in various Jack in the Box departments.
Qualified candidates must be enrolled students. The preferred areas of education are: Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, and Computer Science. Required skills include: learning on the fly, problem solving, functional/technical skills, time management, creativity, decision quality, integrity and trust, intellectual horsepower, planning, dealing with ambiguity, perseverance and detail oriented.
