Job Function The Systems Analyst will act as functional lead for mission critical billing system. This candidate will manage billing projects from inception through deployment in Production, including requirement analysis, collection and development, integration considerations, testing, training, release management, and production support.
Responsibilities Act as a functional lead for billing systems utilized by wireless messaging services.
Support customers by working with development team to facilitate the implementation of projects throughout all phases of system implementations: from requirements analysis, design, development, testing, training, go-live and production support.
Create detailed descriptions of system requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify billing programs. Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by bill operations and user groups.
Review billing system capabilities, workflow and limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within the existing design. Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects or enhancements.
Assess problems and propose workable solutions. Provide guidance on error correction and system maintenance after implementation. Assist development team in resolution of problems related to billing programs or configuration.
Define billing system integration with upstream and downstream applications to ensure that business requirements are achieved.
Skills/Experience Six plus years experience with Telecommunication Billing systems analysis and development required. Experience specific to Intec SV and PREP software applications highly preferred.
Experience working closely with the business units and user community to analyze billing requirements, procedures, and problems in order to automate processing or to improve existing billing systems.
Throughout all phases of the project, this role manages requirements, change requests and ensures the delivery of solutions meet customers requirements.
Direct and coordinate billing tasks with IT partners and development teams to deliver an effective solution for the end customers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Strong organizational and meeting facilitation skills required.
Implementation experience with Intec Singl.eView Billing systems required.
Experience with NetSuite ERP a plus.
Education Requirements Bachelor''s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology required.
