SCAN BASED TRADING OVERVIEW:
o SBT is an e-business initiative, which is one of Dreyer s Grand Ice Cream s long term strategic programs. This program allows Dreyer s to receive payment based on scan sales through the retailer s register, instead of delivered inventory. With this process Dreyer s receives the benefit of honor check-in, open delivery windows, more efficient routing, scanned sales information, and elimination of paper transactions. These combined benefits have allowed Dreyer s to better service our customers.
o Currently over 30 retailers, representing approximately 6,000 stores, participate in SBT with Dreyer s. These stores represent $500 million in annual sales.
JOB PURPOSE:
o Provide auditing services to our Scan Based Trading customers throughout the region.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
o Assist in inventory control within SBT stores by conducting physical inventories of all Dreyer s distributed products at the product class level.
o Successfully complete 100% of scheduled inventories per day.
o Identify and communicate store-level issues affecting inventory balances to Route Sales Reps, Zone Sales Managers and SBT Manager/Coordinator.
o Follow established schedule and maintain reliable transportation, good driving record and insurance.
o Support Zone Sales Managers with additional merchandising and route-related activities is needed.

Experience:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
o Must be at least 18 years of age.
o High School Diploma / GED Equivalent.
o Must have a dependable vehicle with valid insurance and a clean MVR.
o Pass post-offer background checks, drug screen and physical.
o Ability to use computer equipment and have basic math skills.
o Willingness to work early mornings / late nights and weekends.
o Frequent standing, bending, kneeling and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
o Must be able to push and / or pull ice cream racks and pallets (using pallet jack).
o Ability to withstand freezing temperatures (-20 F).
o Ability to work safely.
o Grocery experience preferred.
o Read, write and speak English.
