The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance and general upkeep of center buildings and grounds
1. Performs general janitorial duties in an office, such as cleaning, dusting, washing windows, and moving and polishing furniture and equipment
2. Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors. Vacuums and spot cleans carpets
3. Empties trash receptacles and dusts furniture
4. Performs minor maintenance repairs. Arranges for repair of office equipment and utilities. Responsible for voicemail access and maintenance
5. Transports students as authorized
6. Ensures that all tools and equipment are in good repair
7. Attends required training session
**Minimum:**High School graduate or equivalent. Six months work-related experience
**Preferred:**One year or more work-related experience
**Knowledge Required:** Knowledge of special laundry care for all types of materials. Must possess a valid State driver's license. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification. Ability to operate power tools
