Job Description:•
Lead and successfully execute all aspects of major Radio System Programs.

Direct the responsibilities and activities of the program implementation team, which will include program management, systems engineering, field installation and financial support functions.

Manage the cost, schedule, and program technical performance requirements through all phases from inception to completion (e.g., contract negotiations, planning, scheduling, installation, testing and system acceptance).

Perform risk/issue assessment, tracking, resolution and escalation to ensure project delivery.

Provide strategic direction and set priorities to deliver to plans/budget and resolve day-to-day project issues.

Perform risk assessment, tracking, resolution, escalation and closeout to ensure satisfactory program performance and delivery.

Work with sales, development, operations, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of program.

Develop innovative solutions to resolve difficult customer challenges

Represent Harris Corporation in negotiations to achieve contracts and change orders that minimize contractual risk.

Provide leadership / guidance in managing commercial subcontractors.

Provide innovative solutions to resolve difficult customer challenges.

Manage and maintain metrics and related processes for program team.

Assist in preparation of bids/proposals that contain project management requirements.

Instill process discipline and a culture of accountability focused on customer satisfaction and product quality.
Qualifications:•
Bachelors Degree (BS or BA)

10 years experience in estimating, staffing, managing, controlling, administering, budgeting and executing technical project efforts.

10 years experience with customer interface. Demonstrated strong customer focus.

Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Additional Skills:•
Experience with site civils, construction and installation of telecommunications equipment.

Experience with Public Safety, or State and Local Government Projects

Project Management Institute (PMI) - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Experience with MS Project or equivalent.

Approximately 40% domestic travel anticipated
