Are you an experienced RN who has the desire to improve the quality of patient care through Performance Improvement processes? In this role you will collect and analyze patient care information using approved screening criteria. May provide PI education and facilitation, peer review screening and active participation on clinical core teams. Using data abstraction, quarterly data submission, data reporting and general database management you will collaborate with Physicians and staff to the ensure quality patient care. The work location for this position will be at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center Medford.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
License / Certification:Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) by Healthcare Quality Certification Board preferred.
Experience: Two years broad based acute clinical nursing experience required. Successful candidates will have Excel database management experience. Experience with CMS quality measures and clinical registries preferred. Knowledge of current medical and nursing practices and procedures required. Knowledge of principles of continuous quality improvement and data collection design and analysis required. Ability to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects and working without direct supervision required. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with employees and medical staff required.
