Manager of Cardiac Imaging
TheManager of Cardiac Imaging at Rogue Regional Medical Center (RRMC) provides leadership using Asante Guiding Values to oversee the success of the Imaging Cardiac Services, Cardiovascular Recovery and Cardiac Studies. The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate available resources, guide the strategic direction of the department, and assure accountability of health care professionals to support delivery of superb health care services. In this role you will be extremely visible throughout RRMC managing the ongoing operations, leading the continuous improvement of their areas, achieving excellence, and outstanding customer service. You will lead a Cath Lab that supports a wide array of disciplines and a top tier ASSET (Stemi) Program that has appeared in Cardiac Journals. The Cath Lab sees over 3,000 patients in a year performing a variety of procedures such as: Cardiac Interventions, Device Implants, Electrophysiology Program which performs all facets of RFA, Vascular Interventions, as well as other Interventional Radiology procedures. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations at Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Education:Bachelor's degree in a health related field required. Master of Science in Nursing, Business, Hospital Administration or related field preferred.
License / Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified from American Heart Association required. The following are preferred licensure: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) registered by American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) registered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
Experience:Minimum of five (5) years progressive leadership experience in a Cardiovascular lab serving 3000+ patients annually required. Cardiovascular recovery, imaging special procedures, and outpatient cardiovascular workflow experience required. Current CIS & electrophysiology experience. Knowledge of charge capture in pre/post imaging and cardiovascular recovery procedures, peripheral angiography, in/out patient cardiac cases, and electrophysiology realm. Experience with and knowledge of various external market forces affecting the cardiovascular service line specific to hospitals, practitioners, and third party payers. Knowledge of PACS. Experience with electronic charge capture, inventory, and medical documentation.
