Job Title: Manager, Surplus Sales
Location: Melbourne, FL
Overview: Position is responsible for set-up and ongoing
management of department Surplus Sales.
Responsible for selling surplus airline assets
to include but not limited to; aircraft parts
and components.
Remain current on market trends with competitors
to ensure corporate standards are maintained in
accordance with required margins and obtain the
highest returns possible in the market.
Prepares periodic reports, track inventory, and
provide periodic and/or daily reports to
management.
Analyzes and aggressively pursue customers in
the market.
Communicate and respond promptly to potential
new and current customers, and become a reliable
source of information for surplus sales service
and assistance.
Other duties may be assigned by department team
leader or senior management.
Must be a U.S. Person as defined in 22 C.F.R. §
120.15
Education/
Experience: Required:
Associates degree or equivalent.
5 years aircraft buying or selling parts
experience.
3 years relevant management experience.
Preferred:
B.A./B.S. in business or related field from four-
year college or university; or eight years
sales and management experience with at least
five years in sales management or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
