Mechanical Assembler - Temporary - Engineering Tech - Palm Bay, FL
Job Description:
Position will include but is not limited to, general hand assembly of components to PWBs, PWBs to housing and subsequent interconnects.
Qualifications:•High School Diploma•4 years experience hand soldering, manual dispensing of adhesives, manual placement of components, installation of mag wire interconnections, all done using a microscope.•Previous solder certification required.•Position will be required to operate certain production equipment including, but not limited to, dispensers, ovens, torque wrenches, feeler gages, epoxy mixers, etc.
Preferred Additional Skills:•Very good hand/eye coordination and strong experience with using tweezers, picks and probes while under a microscope. •Previous experience working with Cleanroom policies and ESD and Hi-Rel handling procedures. •Good to advance computer skills to allow candidate to use paperless system for shop floor control documentation.•Must understand and use drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and process documentation to perform daily job requirements.•Previous understanding and experience with Mil Stnd requirements for chip and wire assembly.•Previous experience using SPC controls.•Able to work in a cleanroom environmentwearing hair nets, gloves, smocks, face covers and ESD shoes.•Willing to work an off shift, overtime/weekends and be open to travel.•Ability to get a security clearance.•Dependable and open to daily changes.
