Senior Manager/Associate Director, ASSIST Compliance Assurance T

Do you have a background in Compliance Assurance & Training? If so, we are looking for you! The UT ASSIST team serves our patients' needs around reimbursement support and drug therapy assistance programs, and as the Senior Manager/Associate Director, ASSIST Compliance Assurance & Training, you will conduct various auditing and monitoring protocols, develop and refine auditing and monitoring objectives and collaborate with the UT ASSIST team to execute the shared mission of ensuring ASSIST operations are compliant with Federal laws, regulations, and UT policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

+ Adhere to all state, federal and company enforced guidelines/standards

+ Collaborate with senior management and Compliance departments to define quality standards, policies and procedures, and develop training materials

+ Audit for compliance to existing UT policies and procedures, track progress and make suggestions for improvement

+ Use data driven tools to oversee and implement internal controls

+ Provide new hire and periodic training for ASSIST employees

+ Research and gather customer feedback for ways to improve

+ Report all deviations from policies and procedures to inline managers and Compliance department

+ Ensure annual self-inspection is completed

+ Ensure accuracy and completeness of ASSIST employee training records

+ Clear understanding of the implications of payer and reimbursement policy impact on prescriber and patient behaviors as well as sales force activity

+ Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

+ Represent and respond for ASSIST program during on-site inspections/audits

+ Follow standard protocols to report misconduct or individual's failure to ensure success of quality assurance or control

+ Interface with internal department and external parties (such as Vendors, Patients, Physicians, and Specialty Pharmacy Partners) in-person, or via other communication tools

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Business, or another related field

+ Two (2)+ years previous compliance experience in reimbursement or patient assistance program with a quality or training focus

+ Demonstrated understanding of government insured vs. privately/financially insured copay programs

+ Proficiency in applicable laws and regulations related to Pharmaceutical/Biotech operations

+ Demonstrated excellence in development/implementation of training/compliance programs

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

+ Ability to travel as needed up to 10%

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Masters in Life Science, MBA, or another related field

+ Five (5)+ years of compliance experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries or healthcare services

+ Demonstrated knowledge of the U.S. healthcare systems, including expertise in healthcare and reimbursement policies related to the pharmaceutical and device industry

+ Strong preference for Compliance, Finance and/or Internal Audit experience
