Job Description
We would like to announce an opening for an Engineering Technician in our Westfield, MA plant. In addition to being highly proficient in general accounting practices, other responsibilities include but are not limited too:
 
* Updating and revising job costs and quantities
* Provide cost support and reports to Project Managers and Field Engineers
* Reconciling journal entries and making budget revisions
* Inventory item tracking and reporting
* Sales order processing; including maintaining customer lists and updating pricing
* Payroll responsibilities
* Supporting the Office Manager with A/P and general office duties when necessary
Required Skills
Qualifications:
* Degree preferred
* Previous experience with General Accounting essential
* Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
* JDEdwardsexperience is strongly desired
* Familiarity with highway construction process and terminology preferred
