Part time Senior Project Manag

A Senior Project / Program Manager (PM) to enable the success of two interconnected work streams:
1) COMPANY's early clinical development team in their move to a fit for purpose operating model with some in-house capabilities.
2) COMPANY's late stage clinical development team in there evaluation of best fit operating models.
Specifically, COMPANY is looking for a PM who is able to work closely with all impacted groups and functions within COMPANY's R&D; framework as well as add organizational structure to both work streams, while also identifying synergies and further areas of opportunity. The position will report directly to the project sponsors.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Project Management for both work streams:
* Strong and frequent communication with core teams and work stream leads
* Facilitate core and extended team discussions
* Help team members with scheduling meetings
* Keep track of actions items
* Hold team accountable for deliverable timelines
* Facilitate high level and detailed planning meetings
* Support material builds for executive committee presentations and reporting
* Process change / improvement facilitation
* Lead/ support working sessions to develop future state processes
* Work stream alignment
* Identify / recommend areas of opportunity for work streams to work together
* Identify / recommend areas where work streams should differ
* Change Management guidance
* Support core team in change management work
* Identify change management needs
* Facilitate change management planning
* Support change management plan roll outs
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
BA or BS in related field
MBA or equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 6 years exposure in a Biotech or Pharma organization
* Minimum of 4 years clinical operations experience leading studies and or programs
* Candidates without experience leading studies or programs may be considered if they have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a business analyst or program / project manager, with expert command of business analysis techniques, methodologies and tools.
* Ability to bring cross functional teams together in a collaborative manner
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstration of excellent interpersonal skills (knowledge transfer, negotiation, issue escalation, etc.)
* Effectively communicate with people of various disciplines and functions (business SMEs, Managers, Directors, VPs, project team, etc.)
* Highly skilled with process flow and context diagramming; process, data and information flow for a "System" (people, roles, process, data, information, handoffs, etc.)
* Change management experience
* Experience in MS - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
* Advanced capabilities in MS Excel
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
* Experience helping clients transitioning outsourcing models
* Experience with upgrades or modifications to clinical systems (CTMS, EDC, etc.)
* Professional certifications (e.g. PMP or lean / six sigma)
