Description: This may end up being a RTH.Summary:
Seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of Configuration Manager in its IT Service Management program. The Configuration Manager is accountable to the Configuration Management Process Owner and works with the Change Manager and Service Level Manager to ensure successful operation of the Configuration Management System (CMS) in accordance with governance and compliance requirements as established by the IT Strategy & Steering Group.

AaA Posses general knowledge of ITIL processes and understands relationships amongst ITSM modules
AaA Possesses a working knowledge of Configuration Management Systems

Essential Functions:
AaA Day-to-day responsibility for the overall CMS data accuracy and currency of autoamted jobs
AaA Responsible for all data interfaces with automated discovery tools, domain level configuration tools, and ITSM applications
AaA Establishes CMS Policy and access controls
AaA Proposes CMS design service improvements
AaA Evaluates CMS operational effectiveness and efficiency
AaA Monitors CMS availability and performance
AaA Ensures all authorized changes are reflected in CMS
AaA Performs required internal audits to verify physical inventory is consistent with the CMDB
Qualifications:
AaA College degree in Engineering, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience
AaA Strong ITIL foundation awareness
AaA Broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure and major application architectures
AaA Strong BMC Remedy, BMC Atrium, and BMC ADDM product familiarity is a plus
AaA Ability to work collaboratively with others to deliver essential functions
AaA Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple deadlines
AaA Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
AaA Process and governance oriented oriented
AaA Strong attention to detail
