The Instrument Room Technician supports the Operating Room by performing various duties involved in processing and making available sterile instruments and equipment in accordance with established methods and procedures of Des Peres Hospital.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or equivalent work experience.-
Graduate from an approved surgical technologist program
Certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years experience as Operating Room Instrument technician preferred
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Positive service attitude toward patients, team members and customers.
Verbal ability to understand oral and written instructions related to job responsibilities.
Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Good communication skills.
