Responsibilities
Currently we are seeking a Medical Technologist I. As a Medical Technologist I (Microbiology), you will perform the daily activities as described below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. This position is primarily responsible for reading cultures and smears for rountine clinical bacteriology, performing tests and reporting results for identification and susceptibility testing. EIA test methods will be performed as well as some culture set-up.
Required Experience:
Clinical Microbiology experience preferred.
Work hours:
M-F with rotating weekend
7a to 3:30p.m.
On-Call rotation
Overtime as needed
Special Requirement:
MT (ASCP), MLT(ASCP) or equivalent.
