We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales and Distribution Representative for our division PIHER. PIHER is a specialist manufacturer of custom engineered position sensors and controls for the industrial, off-highway, consumer electronics and appliance markets. Piher s North American customer base includes Fortune 100 companies in steering and suspension systems, off-highway an agriculture products, major appliances, medical, power tools and industrial instrumentation systems. This position is the first point of contact for customers of PIHER in North America. This position involves the development and support of new and existing customers by providing technical product information and engineering support for Piher s entire line of Sensor and Control Products.

The position requires a strong self starter with a positive customer relation(s) approach in presenting technical information while responding to customer inquiries. Core activities include engineering analysis on customers designs and ability to specify std. and custom versions of Piher s entire line of both contacting and non contacting sensing solutions. A technical understanding of position sensor and customer s sensing and control applications is a must. In addition to the technical role, the commercial responsibilities include: quoting, ensuring on-time delivery, invoicing and schedule coordinating with the Piher factory to address delivery schedule and returns. The individual will interact extensively between North American customers and the Piher factory in Spain.

This position requires direct sales calls to prospective customers and distributors to win new business with approximately 25 % travel required within North America and Spain. Key responsibilities include managing distribution sales at all North America distributors, consolidating forecasts and monitoring stocking levels.

Duties include:
