Collections/Christian Care Coordinator
Department: Patient Accounts
Schedule: Full Time 80 hrs per pay

Job Details: - Associates degree is preferred
- Customer service skills are required
- Experience is preferred
Associate's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, minimum one year Patient Accounts or related field,
previous collections experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with other colleagues,
patients and external parties required. Able to work independently; must be self-motivated and goal oriented. Must
be proficient with computers and computer applications and office equipment asrequired. Must be able to prioritize and
multi-task. Medical terminology desirable.
Performs a variety of department duties involving charity care questions, working to resolve problems with patient
accounts counseling of patients, negotiation of financial arrangements, acting as a liaison with the collection agencies, establishing appropriate patient records to collect patient responsible balances and aiding in the determination
of disposition of bankruptcy notifications. Reviews and ensures the validity of incoming data, secures necessary
missing data and submits financial data to collection agencies, attorneys and billing as needed.
