The Opportunity:
The company currently has an opening for a Electrical Engineer to be based in Richmond, IL.
Primary Responsibilities:

Preparing electrical/software design specifications, electrical system drawings, circuit board schematics and developing sysem layouts for meeting end user requirements
*
Designing and developing/executing software, electrical, electromechanical and other test protocols as necessary to verify and validate system functionality
*
Researching and specifying commercially available components for use in equipment/system construction
* Preparing bid packages and working with Purchasing to manage procurement of PCB routing services and of prototype boards
* Working cross functionally with Quality, Operations and other functions as appropriate to transition products from development to commercial manufacturing
* Supporting ongoing commercial manufacturing as necessary
Education and Experience Required:
* Bachelors degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences preferred or equivalent experience
* 5 to 10 years experience designing, testing and validating the functionality of medical devices (Class II or higher preferred)
* Experience leading cross functional teams from design through commercialization of new medical device products
* Experience interfacign with and supporting commerical manufacturing in a cGMP regulated environment
