Description
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
•Campaign Execution
o Develop targeting criteria using campaign management systems
o Produce counts for proposed initiatives
o Create quality assurance/control steps to ensure that delivered lists meet customers’ targeting requirements and are free of data irregularities
o Document list selection criteria thoroughly to serve as a reference guide for colleagues performing back-up support
• Campaign Analysis
o Deliver campaign executive reports as well as data driven insights against campaigns (including test vs. control) to drive marketing strategy
o Use analytical tools to generate campaign performance analysis including channel/media/offer performance and campaign targeting model and tactic effectiveness
• Campaign Design
o Facilitate upfront planning of marketing campaigns to translate hypotheses and business objectives into a test design framework within a campaign
o Develop and document test designs and measurement plans for marketing campaigns, applying test/control (A/B split) principles
o Review and approve all tracking codes to ensure test designs and measurement plans are accurate
•Campaign Strategy
o Collaborate with Senior Campaign Specialist to formulate recommendations based on analytic findings
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• Working knowledge of database marketing, campaign management systems or related tools and analytical thought leadership
• Comprehension of the major concepts in Database Marketing (e.g. test and control cells, suppression logic, de-duplication, data hygiene, householding)
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding the structure and design of relational database models in order to translate client requests into error free technical select criteria
• Previous experience (1 year minimum) with pulling campaign lists that meet customer’s objectives and cell / audience segmentations using database programming tools such as SAS or SQL
• Positive attitude while working under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, process documentation, quality assurance/control and process improvement
• Ability to perform backend campaign analysis (e.g. response rate calculations, lift estimation, ROI determination)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Business Specific Criteria (preferred skills):
• Master’s Degree
• Understanding of inferential statistics (e.g. hypothesis/significance testing, sample size determination) and predictive analytics (e.g. rank ordering and model validations) from the perspective that these influence list selects and campaign performance
• Prior experience with Campaign Management systems such as SAS, Unica, Aprimo or Epiphany – that facilitate GUI-driven campaign list selects
• Experience working with healthcare data
