Xcenda is currently recruiting for an experienced Analyst join the firm.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Complete all responsibilities within allotted number of hours by given deadline
· Participate in project team meetings
· Work with fellow team members to efficiently complete project
· Contribute to development of proposals and concept papers thatclearly convey the excellence of Xcenda's services with accurate budgets
· Design and implement health outcomes and/or economic studies - from study concept stage to final report, including burden of illness studies, patient-reported outcomes studies, drug utilization reviews, prospective or retrospective observational epidemiologic or health resource utilization studies and database analyses
· Develop and /or review study reports, scientific publications, abstracts, and posters
· Demonstrate commitment to the firm and inspire/mentor fellow employees
· Maintain 90-95% chargeability by providing project input/guidance, generally 100% content developmentIdeal Candidate:
· Broad technical knowledge of outcomes research and health economics
· Structured and well organized
· Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to communicate complex material in presentations and discussions in a straightforward manner
· Ability to work well in a dynamic, successful consulting firm, which maintains high quality standards and demands excellence
· Database management and analytical and statisticalskills
· Economic modeling skills
· Proficiency is SAS, SPSS, or STATA
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong clinical skills preferred

Education:
A postgraduate degree (eg, Ph.D., DrPH, M.D., PharmD) in a relevant discipline preferred. Master''s degree (in Health Economics, Pharmacy Administration, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Clinical Epidemiology, Public Health Policy or Business Administration) as the minimum educational requirement. Experience, Qualifications, & Skills:
· Broad technical knowledge of outcomes research and health economics
· Proficiency in economic modeling that are useful and essential section of the dossiers supporting formulary inclusion, reimbursement and pricing of pharmaceuticals/medical devices
· Strong clinical skills preferred
1. Knowledge of clinical epidemiology and outcomes to help design study proposals, protocols, reports and publications
2. Knowledge of the clinical services provided to ensure compliance with the company's SOPs, Practice Guidelines and other expected clinical research professional standards
3. Periodically review the pharmaceutical product dossiers and clinical SOPs, as well as assist in conducting systematic literature reviews
· Retrospective and prospective research experience as well as large database management and analysis experience preferred, with fluency in using the statistical software SAS, SPSS and/or STATA
· Descriptive and inferential statistical and analytical skills
· Ability to maintain high quality output in a consultancy environment
· Detailed knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and experience with issues surrounding the marketing of pharmaceutical products in the global marketplace to include the design and use of health economics outcomes research studies
· Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to communicate complex material in presentations and discussions in a straightforward manner
· Ability to work well in a dynamic, successful firm, which maintains high quality standards
