JOB SUMMARY- To support and help lead the efforts of the Planning team in meeting business objectives and exceeding Customer expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and manage the weekly production schedule for 9 lines
*
Review variances between forecast and actual orders and adjust the schedule to ensure all customer orders are shipped in full
*
Communicate daily with Production Team and QA Staff regarding topics such as line attainment, release dates, CIP schedule, etc.
*
Maintain proper inventory levels at the plant and outside warehouses
*
Be proactive in identifying potential product issues and communicating them to other departments
*
Focus on achieving Line Load and Order Fill goals
*
Participation in and Leadership of Continuous Improvement projects
*
Proactively communicate within Planning Team and with other Departments for issue resolution and process improvements.
*
Develop training guides, process changes, and SOP-Ts as needed
*
Other duties as assigned by Planning Management Team
REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to handle multiple people and projects in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and organizational skills
*
Strong SAP ability
*
Employee will have on-call responsibilities for emergencies
*
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
*
Must be flexible in working hours - overtime, vacation coverage, and off-shifts
