Job Title: Financial Analyst Requisition Number: 30137 Functional Area: Finance/Accounting Work Location: Landing Gear - Oakville Job Description Summary: Summary: Reporting to the Program Accounting Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for providing financial support to your assigned programs. This would include but not be restricted to the collection, analysis, and consolidation of financial and cost data from numerous sources. This position will also be required to present various business cases to management to aid in making sound business decisions. Primary Responsibilities: . Perform budgeting/forecasting for assigned programs . Provide results analysis by program; provide gap analyses . Present monthly program reviews . Perform variance to plan analyses . Establish and monitor standard costs for assigned programs, ensuring the integrity of costing and identifying any unusual trends or exceptions . Perform Make/Buy analyses . Provide estimating/negotiating support for assigned programs . Perform various month end activities . Perform account reconciliations . Perform and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting . Develop business case presentations using NPV, IRR, and MIRR tools in support of strategic product development . Provide support for business case preparation and analysis for management during and after new program start up . Perform ad hoc analyses for projects as assigned . Participate in Continuous Improvement projects . Assist in audit requests as assigned Basic Qualifications: Qualifications: . At least 5 years of senior finance analyst experience or related experience required, preferably in an aerospace environment . At least 5 years standard costing experience and business case analysis is required . Demonstrated experience in a Make/Buy manufacturing environment preferred . University degree in Business/Finance or related area is required. . Recent CMA or CGA or finalist is required. . Excellent PC skills; demonstrated strength using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc. is required . Strong interpersonal and communication skills . Experience within an ERP environment; experience with SAP and/or Hyperion preferred . Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment .
