Talent Acquisition Specialist and Global Mobility Lead
Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist and Global Mobility Lead Location: North America-Canada-ON-Concord Job Number:_AB+001502 Scope of Role Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Human Resources Americas, the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Global Mobility Lead has responsibility for all staffing and recruitment related activities in Canada as well as the management of Global Mobility throughout AB SCIEX. The incumbent is also responsible for all Talent Acquisition Metrics in partnership with our Global HR Team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As the successful candidate, you will develop, implement and maintain best practices to attract top talent from both domestic and international labour markets and have the ability to work with various internal clients groups to achieve their recruitment needs. Within this fast paced environment, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment and related duties that include: · Function as the Global Lead on recruitment standard process · Lead Canada recruitment, and when required, assist with North America-wide recruitment · Establish recruitment strategies and procedures according to specific Hiring Managers'' needs · Assisting Hiring Managers' in choosing or designing appropriate job postings to match the job responsibilities/requirements · Place postings on applicant tracking system and other job boards as required · Source candidates using a variety of established and creative recruitment techniques · Pre-screening and interview qualified candidates · Conduct assessments, testing and required background checks of potential candidates when necessary · Manage all offer extensions and negotiations · Liaise with external recruitment sources (i.e. recruitment agencies, colleges/universities, etc.) · Ensure compliance with all applicable recruitment guidelines and policies. · Provide input and updates as appropriate to recruitment tools, templates, policies and guidelines · Prepare and manage the monthly Global Recruitment Metrics · Lead and participate in strategic recruitment initiatives · Actively participate in related projects and process improvement initiatives · Manage AB SCIEX Global Mobility Program, including expatriate assignments and domestic and international relocations based on the Danaher Mobility Policies and Guidelines tbc · University/ College degree or equivalent · CHRP designation is a definite asset · Minimum of 7 years of recruitment experience, preferable within a global, fast paced environment · Experience recruiting in either Life Sciences or the Instrumentation industries is a definite asset. · Previous experience managing Global Mobility programs · Demonstrated experience with knowledge of provincial employment laws, human rights and privacy legislation. · Experience with Taleo or a similar recruitment database management tool · Demonstrated experience in building relationships and working in partnership with the business · It is essential that prospective candidates possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. · Additional professional qualifications include, but not be limited to: · Results oriented - has track record for delivery results, takes ownership and is accountable · Stretch oriented - embraces and thrives on challenge · Customer Service oriented - high sense of urgency Job: Human Resources
