. Minimum 9 years of experience as an Instrumentation/Automation Engineer in the consulting engineering industry working for industrial clients
. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks including management of the Instrumentation and Controls Department, outside contractors and consultants from other locations as well as perform as Project Manager when required
. Understand scope of work in broad areas such as Chemicals, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals and Alternative Energy
. Knowledgeable of Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Architectural disciplines
. Knowledgeable in the preparation of complete quality packages for the engineering, procurement, and installation of instrument and controls systems for our clients

The Lead Instrumentation and Controls Engineer/Project Manager will have a say in developing technical standards and procedures implemented by the group.
Responsibilities:
. Assist in selling work to clients
. Perform presentations
. Coordinate with Engineering disciplines and construction management
. Develop schedules
. Execute multiple design and construction projects simultaneously as the Lead Instrumentation/Automation Engineer within the Instrumentation/Automation group
. Mentor and direct other associates and contractors
. Provide personnel utilization planning for the Instrumentation/Automation group, including forecasting project manpower needs and selection of personnel based on talents, experience, and workload
. Planning, Development and Problem Solving
. Generate instrumentation and Controls Specifications
. Develop control Logic diagrams
. Develop Instrument Data sheets and instrument index
. Provide input to P&IDs
. Perform Control System Testing and Inspection
. Specify and Design of PLC and DCS systems
. Specify and Design of PLC and DCS Logic Programming equipment (Rockwell Controllogix, Delta V)
. Specify and Design of plant and pipeline Instrumentation
. Perform Network Design
. Radio and Wireless Network Design
. Plant Security and Safety System Design
. Perform assessments, planning, design, bidding, construction, inspection, and testing
. Design of Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, and Bristol Babcock PLC systems; Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, and Foxboro DCS systems; and GE iFix, Wonderware, Iconics, Bristol Babcock Open Enterprise, GE Cimplicity, Schneider Citect and Allen Bradley RSView/Factory Talk HMI Software packages
. Support field start-up including control system checkout and control loop tuning, troubleshooting, and field logic revisions
. Execute work in accordance with schedule and coordinate execution of projects with other disciplines and the project manager
. Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields
. Make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and represent the organization to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work
