About this jobOur client is requesting two degreed Electrical Engineers with a minimum of 5 Years of nuclear power plant design engineering experience for the design of electrical modifications associated with the Major Projects Design Engineering Group.
Individual will be acting as responsible engineer for assigned projects and in a support capacity on other project teams as required.
Responsibilities will include design package development, coordination of design efforts with selected A/E, technical support during implementation and conducting reviews/approvals of design products covering a range of areas associated with main turbine digital control system upgrades.
This position may require travel back and forth to AE offices, suppliers, and others to participate in reviews, meetings, etc.

Duties
Qualifications:
The ability to obtain qualifications as a Modification Engineer is required in order to be fully functional and work independently in this position with demonstration of past qualification at other nuclear stations acceptable.
A working knowledge of Passport is highly desirable.
Experience in the design of Electrical systems, including electro-hydraulic turbine control systems, raceways, cabling, wiring, terminations, and related components within the nuclear industry is desired.
Will be required to qualify in the necessary duty areas to act as a Responsible Engineer for modifications
Previous qualification as a Modification Engineer under an INPO Accredited Program is preferred.
Will be required pass site security access requirements including General Employee Training, Radiation Worker Training, Security Clearance checks and subject to the site's Fitness for Duty Program.
