Serves as a technical lead on voice, data and/or security systems and performs such duties as design, departmental project management, upgrades, maintenance and adds/moves/changes to systems and subsystems that are core to the data infrastructure of FirstHealth of theCarolinas. Uses data analysis tools and systems along with proven expertise to ensure optimum performance and uptime of the data network. Researches, develops and evaluates networking solutions in support of complex business and mission requirements. Participates as a lead in the support of all high level networking subject matter as well as provides expert troubleshooting and network problem solving techniques. Promotes a positive and professional image of the Information Systems Department and of FirstHealth of theCarolinas.
Four year degree in IT or Network Communications or equivalent combination of education and advanced industry experience required. Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible, related work experience, to assure familiarity with directing all activities relating to network development, performance tuning and evaluation. (Designing, troubleshooting and supporting networks, LAN/WAN, Cisco switching/routing, firewalls, VPN, load balancers, DNS/DHCP, etc.) Must have a good understanding of Windows 2003/2008 Server and the administration of DNS and DHCP services within a large enterprise environment. One of the following professional level Cisco certifications is required:
-CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional, -CCSP - Cisco Certified Security Professional, -CCVP - Cisco Certified Voice Professional ,-CCIE - Cisco Certified Internetworking Engineer.
