Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Sr. Controls Technician IV on a --CONTRACT TYPE-- opportunity with a leading company in Wilmington, North Carolina.
General Description:
Learn about the modification of an existing piece of process equipment during the installation of the prototype unit. After the prototype has been installed, this person is expected to lead the propagation of the changes to other units. This equipment has mechanical and electrical components and interacts with an existing control computer.
Requirements:
The person in this role would be expected to direct the work of contractors and keep to both a project schedule and budget.
Project leadership skills with a focus on managing contractors, keeping to a schedule and a budget. Electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology background would be preferred due to the nature of the modification. Strong understanding and experience with controls logic and software is desired.
Skills:
Prior project leadership/management. Electrical & Controls engineering background. Experience with MS project or other project management software is desired. MS word and Excel. Bachelors degree in EE or Electrical Engineering Technology is preferred
