Mead Johnson Nutrition is currently searching for a qualified Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Developer to join our team in Evansville, IN.
JobDescription/Expected Areas of Competence and Responsibility:
*
Lead definition of an enterprise integration strategy for MJN, including definition of standards, guidelines and best practicesfor application-to-application and business-to-business integrations.
*
Influence and guide implementation of the strategy, providing guidance and review of architecture plans and designs to ensure methodology,best practices and standards are followed and to ensure overall quality of the integration solution.
*
Drive standardization of common business objects and ensure integration solutions are architected for reusability.
*
Lead definition and implementation of MJN's enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA) strategy.
*
Develop an understanding of MJN's global business strategies and contribute to development of an application rationalization roadmapspecifically focusing on integration and SOA opportunities.
*
Demonstrate the ability to lead and influence across multiple levels of the organization and with internal and external team members.
*
Contribute as a principal team member of the Enterprise Architecture organization, ensuring this high-performing team coordinates deliverywith enterprise strategies and roadmaps that are integrated and aligned with the business strategy.
*
Adhere to MJN operational policies procedures and compliance guidelines.
*
Maintain awareness of industry trends and best-practices within the enterprise integration and SOA environments in order to introduce innovationand ensure cost-effectiveness of MJN's standards and strategies. Recommend changes to MJN's EAI and SOA strategies to improve the value of integration and SOA to MJN.

Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external IT experts and specialists (solution architects, project managers, externalsolutions providers) to provide leadership and technical guidance, continuously expanding MJN knowledge and capabilities of EAI and SOA.

Experience with implementation and support of ERS and 21CFR11 compliant applications is preferred.

Experience designing, developing and testing very-complex applications using proven or emerging technologies.

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences

Experience working as a member of a technically and culturally diverse team responsible for implementing an IT-based business solution, and creating the vision and motivating less senior team members
*
Demonstrated ability developing and executing highly-complex project plans that meet defined objectives and deliver business results.

Formal training and experience with the following technologies:
*
RDBMS (DB2, Oracle or MS SQL Server)
*
Understanding of Networking concepts and troubleshooting
*
UNIX scripting
Knowledge Desired:
*
Minimum of a Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering or IT related discipline.
*
3 years of progressive experience in EAI development including Application to Application (A2A) or Business to Business (B2B) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions using a leading industry integration platform (i.e., WebSphere, webMethods, Tibco, SAP PI); experience with WebSphere and/or SAP PI preferred.
*
Demonstrate an understanding of all elements required to design, build, test, operate and maintain complex, global solutions utilizing enterprise infrastructure and applications.
*
Awareness of the health care and consumer products industries is beneficial.
*
Experience working in a highly validated environment is preferred
*
Formally educated in Service Management Standards, e.g. ITIL is preferred.
*
Global experience dealing with challenges of diverse cultures, time zones, travel and communications.
*
Deep functional expertise of multiple business processes and ERP solutions related to these functions including manufacturing, customer service, logistics, finance and procurement.
*
Understanding of KPIs and Metrics associated with Global Enterprise Application Integration.
