Capture Manager The Competitive Intelligence (CI) Analyst reports to the Competitive Assessment Group manager within the Business Development Capture Management Excellence (CMX) organization. The CI Analyst is responsible for developing market, opportunity, customer and competitor assessments in support of Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS) new business competitive captures and for protection of key existing business. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires a minimum of a Secret Clearance on the first day of employment. Major Responsibilities Include: Develops and updates tactical-level through strategic-level competitive information and intelligence needs for capture teams and product line leadership. Assesses developed competitive information and intelligence to help identify current capabilities, capability gaps, key risks and projected strategies of key customers and competitors. Helps develop clear and complete statements of work for competitive information and intelligence development and analysis by third-party consulting firms and assists consulting firms to complete work scope in accordance with contract requirements. Supports the integration of developed customer and competitor profiles and assessments into organization growth strategies. Establishes information and intelligence sources and repositories to effectively enable reuse and capture efficiency. Collaborates with cross-RTN CMX competitive assessment organizations. Provides CI presentations to Capture Managers/Teams and Product Line leadership as required. Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills: Minimum 6 years overall related experience with a Bachelor's Degree; minimum 4 years related experience with a Master's Degree Minimum 4 years working in the domestic/international aerospace and defense market, or equivalent U.S Citizen Proven analyst-related experience, expertise and success Knowledge of current data/information mining and analysis tools and methods Superior ethical standards and integrity: treat everyone fairly and with respect Proven ability to develop effective internal relationships Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and internet capabilities Existing Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI required - Candidates with current Secret DoD Clearance and those that previously held DoD Top Secret will also be considered Desired Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Education: The ability to solve complex, time-sensitive and unplanned analysis requests Demonstrated assessment and communication skills at program and higher organizational levels Ability to produce high quality work in a timely fashion while simultaneously managing numerous projects A working knowledge of the RMS and RTN organizations, RMS products and markets and a broad understanding of the RMS strategic growth plan Knowledge of RMS domestic and international customers Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, engineering or a related field Master's degree or MBA preferred Security Clearance This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
