Sr Financial Analyst

The Air & Missile Defense Systems (A&MDS) Product Line has an immediate opening for a senior financial analyst supporting the Redesigned Kill Vehicle (RKV) program. The RKV Program is a development effort to redesign and upgrade the current Exo-atmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) to provide improved reliability as part of a robust homeland security solution. RKV is the result of a best of breed solution by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) that utilizes existing Standard Missile 3 (SM-3) & EKV hardware/software along with new design components that will be incorporated into the new RKV payload design. RKV follows a similar program structure as the legacy EKV program in that Boeing is the Prime Contractor, with Raytheon as a Major Subcontractor to Boeing. RKV development began in 2015 under a Technical Instruction (TI) where more than $200M worth of work has been completed to date. The program successfully completed its Preliminary Design Review (PDR) under the TI. A $500M+ completion contract was awarded in July 2017 against which the balance of the program will be executed. That effort will include Critical Design Review (CDR), Qualification, and Flight Testing, as well as the delivery of four initial operational payloads. In addition, with the increasing threat and budget increases to support Missile Defense, there has been much emphasis on capability acceleration and fielding rounds to the fleet as soon as possible. RKV has been working requests to get follow on production awarded in parallel with development and a UCA for follow on production contract was awarded in its first increment to support Long Lead Material in early 2018. Overall Program will be +$1 billion over the next 10 years. Successful execution of this program is critical for A&MDS and RMS overall as it plays a significant role in protecting our Kill Vehicle franchise.
