JOB DESCRIPTION:
This I/E Design Specialist will report to the Oil, Gas and Chemicals Group of The Benham Companies (subsidiary of SAIC) in Tulsa OK.
The designer should be proficient with computer-aided I/E drafting. The designer will primarily be responsible for I/E design and layout of I/E equipment for oil refineries, chemical, and petrochemical facilities. This position will work closely with various project managers, discipline engineers and lead designer to perform design for projects assigned. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent and 2+ years of technical training, plus 2+ years of experience in CAD and associated equipment, including the ability to utilize complex drawings and mathematical calculations.
- Five (5) years drafting, I/E design; three (3) years as I/E designer on Chemical and/or refinery projects
- AutoCAD 2011 minimum
- Bentley AutoPlant 3D experience a plus
- Computer literacy including word, excel and access
- Ability to direct the work of other designers in I/E discipline
- Verbal and written communication skills
