Responsibilities
The Human Resource Administrator responsible for the weekly processing of payroll and related duties. The position administers the attendance policy, assists with recruiting and onboarding, administers benefits, and serves as an employee contact for questions regarding polices, benefits and other HR related items with a high level of internal customer service and professionalism. The HR Administrator assists in special event coordination including corporate citizenship events and employee recognition events, hosting parties and Employee Appreciation Week. Additionally, the HR Administrator will maintain employee bulletin boards, manage HR-related materials and files, process HR-related payables, and union seniority list and assist with the preparation and distribution of internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, and company policies. The Human Resource Administrator will work closely with the Human Resource team at the Minneapolis division and The Corporate HR Team. This is a great position for someone interested in working in many facets of HR, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, union contract administration, onboarding, rewards and recognition, and HRIS, all with a small HR team that manages a division of 300 plus employees.
Qualifications
? Qualified candidates must have an Associate's degree in a related field or 2+ years administrative or HR work experience.
? Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters,
? Familiarity with HR policies and procedures, general knowledge of employment law and practices and
? Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
? Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
? Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills and a strong attention to detail required is a must.
