Black River Asset Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cargill, is an independently operated asset management company with offices in nine countries. Black River provides qualified investors with alternative investment strategies. Black River offers a wide range of investment products supported by experienced investment professionals, rigorous risk processes and a well-established global infrastructure.
The Investor Relations Analyst is responsible for playing a key role in coordinating and assisting with capital raising initiatives as well as being the point of contact for Black River's prospective investor base.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Create, maintain and prioritize target investor list across products
* Identify and qualify target investors
* Indentify and follow up on appropriate searches and RFPs
* Assist in prioritizing and coordination of marketing roads shows
* Follow up with prospective investors to provide fund updates and to encourage additional due diligence
* Maintenance of existing pipeline and distribution lists
* Coordinate responses to investor inquiries
* Point of contact to facilitate information flow between internal parties
* Assist with continuous improvement of marketing materials and positioning
* Identifying and monitoring useful conferences for our participation
* Ongoing analysis and benchmarking of industry peer group
Required:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum of 5 years previous investor relations experience in alternative investment industry
* Ability to work well within a collaborative team environment
* Excellent quantitative and communication skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
* Self-starter, able to work in a highly dynamic environment with a high degree of independence
Preferred:
* 7 years of previous investor relations experience in alternative investment industry
