Physical Therapy Assistant
Department: Athletic Trainers
Facility: Ridgeview Medical Center - Waconia, MN
Responsibilities:
Become part of a multi-clinic, multi-disciplinary Rehab team that provides general orthopedic, industrial, high-level neuro and sports medicine care to a dynamic community. We are looking for that person who has a combination of skills that is comfortable working with a team of clinicians to provide rehabilitation to a variety of age groups as well as work with athletes at the local high schools. Minimum Qualifications:
. Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from APTA accredited program
. CPR Certification
. Strong clinical experience in outpatient setting
. Ability to work independently and organize tasks
. Ability to exhibit flexibility, self-control and maturity in work and behavior
. Ability to promote Rehab Specialties services
. Ability to change work locations with or without prior notification in order to meet customer needs
. Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
. Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications
. Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations.
. Ability to work autonomously and as a team
. Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
. Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions
Preferred Qualifications:
. PTA with ATC

Budgeted Hours: 64 hours per pay period (bi-weekly)
