Job Details:
***Team 1 specific- 12 hour shifts, 6:30am - 7pm. Hours of work per day subject to change to meet the needs for patient care. Potential evenings/nights to cover vacations/LOAs. Every 4 - 5th weekend. Approx. 2 - 3 holidays per year. Potential for approximately 3 - 5 off-premise call shifts per two week period, with a maximum response time of 30 minutes.
The surgical technologist is a member of the surgical team working with physicians, CRNA's, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel in delivering quality patient care and assuming appropriate responsibilities before, during, and after surgery. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program required.
EXPERIENCE
Basic knowledge of surgical technologist duties and responsibilities. One year experience as surgical technologist preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Certification preferred.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required prior to completion of unit orientation.
