GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for maintaining and growing account relationships with our Light Commercial National Accounts organization. Key job functions include: - Developing relationships with multiple buying influences in the customer(`9s organization, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Construction, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable - Determining customer needs to provide knowledge and consultation with HVAC system solutions - Coordinating with customers(`9 Engineers in equipment and controls specifications - Coordinating with Carrier Inside Engineers in the interpretation of specifications and preparation of bid responses - Assisting customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, Carrier products, and system alternatives - Preparing rollout plans for new customers - Providing technical support for the sale of Commercial Air Conditioning systems to National Account customers and their respective consulting engineers - Supporting Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and introduction of new products - Managing the delivery of turnkey projects, including developing RFP for subcontractors, schedule coordination, issuing subcontracts, customer invoicing and project closeouts LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: - Responsible for several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project - Contributes to their team or department by applying their knowledge of one or more functional areas - Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others - Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Fluency in English required Typical Education Requirements: - BA/BS degree w/5+ years experience in management or related function - MA/MS degree w/5+ years experience in management or related function QUALIFICATIONS: - HVAC experience and knowledge of HVAC designs - Ability to organize and support cross functional team to support customer - Sense of urgency, self-initiative, commitment and sense of ownership is a must - Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with both external customers and a cross functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates - Superior follow-up and follow-through skills - Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities - Motivated individual who can take charge, make decisions and meet with customer executives ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: The incumbent in this role will be responsible for complying with UTC''s Code of Ethics, Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policy and applicable regulatory and Company rules and requirements.
