PURPOSE OF YOUR POSITION
*
Under supervision of HomeCare Products Manager, this position is designed to delivery and set up durable medical equipment and pharmaceutical for use in home or other facilities. Assists in maintaining and servicing equipment. Maintains warehouse, delivery vehicles, and cleans and inspects rental equipment.

Must possess the ability to communicate effectively in areas requiring tact and diplomacy with patients and co-workers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
*
Work frequently requires high physical effort requiring above average strength and stamina. Must be able to lift, push and pull materials up to 100 lbs. May be required to lift heavier capacities with floor jacks, hand trucks, additional staff etc (21-50% of work time).
*
Work occasionally includes other various physical demands including prolonged standing and walking, balancing, crouching, pulling, and kneeling (21-50% of work time).
*
Work frequently requires manual dexterity needed to handle a variety of tools and equipment (21-50% of work time).
*
Work requires daily travel to patient homes.
*
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
*
Work may be performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to varying, and sometimes extreme, temperatures. May be performed outside in varying weather conditions (21-50% of work time).
*
Work may be performed in customer home environment and may frequently involve distasteful patient related activities and exposure to infectious disease (21-50% of work time).
*
Subject to injury from confused, combative patients, families and visitors or uncontrolled pets.

QUALIFICATIONS
*
High school diploma or equivalent required.
*
Valid driver`s license and proof of insurability required. Must obtain Certified Driver''s License (CDL) and hazmat endorsement within 45 days of employee hire date. Additionally, must maintain CDL licensure as required by regulations. Original licensure and updates will be at the expense of the employee. Must be able to backup a box van and minivan using mirrors only.

Must be 21 years or older to obtain the required HAZMAT endorsement on CDL.

Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse clearance and a FBI criminal history check required.

Work requires intermediate computer literacy skills and keyboard proficiency. Experience working with patient tracking and follow-up web-based applications preferred. Work requires basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and email.

Work requires interpersonal skills to communicate with team members and a high level of social sensitivity when instructing and communicating with patients. Must be compassionate, professional, and empathetic when handling patient complaints and concerns while remaining focused on providing a positive patient experience (more than 80% of work time).
*
Work requires analytical ability to set up equipment and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions over the telephone. Must be able to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources to identify solutions (51-80% of work time).
*
Work requires mental and visual focus requiring mental application and attention to detail. Work is performed under tight deadlines, must possess time management and functional organizational skills to manage a variety of tasks in a short period of time (21-50% of work time).
