We currently have a position available for an experienced Special Procedures Tech to join our Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Department. This highly skilled position will performs diagnostic X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Tomographic and Special Procedures and a qualified candidate must have experience enabling them to scrub and/or circulate in the Special Procedures suite. This position is also responsible for ordering and stocking supplies utilized in Special Procedures.
A Qualified Candidate will also: -Have an excellent knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality films for interpretation. -Have a thorough understanding of aseptic technique. -Have a thorough knowledge of catheters, anatomy, positioning and techniques used in angiography and related work.
We are seeking a candidate with an Associate''s Degree, experience as a Radiology Tech with additional education or experience in the area of Special Procedures as well as 2 years experience in such a position
ARRT. The candidate needs to have a minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional radiology. Available to take call during the week and on weekends.
