Description: BELCAN is a global provider of GAS TURBINE & AEROSPACE engineering services. Are you excited about making a difference in the Gas Turbine Analysis field?
We are currently looking for Technical Illustrators who will be involved in producing Engine Technical Order and related technical data to support current and anticipated contracts coming into our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida facility
Principal Responsibilities:
? Interpret and apply Government and commercial industry specifications, standards and developmental procedures to create, revise and update technical Illustrations for conventional technical manuals and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals.
? Review/edit technical publication graphics for conformance to governing specifications and ensure delivered product meets all established standards for quality and technical accuracy.
? Review, analyze, research and organize Government and commercial source data (Engineering Changes/Notices, AFTO22, Service Repairs, etc.) to determine accuracy and impact to publications production and scheduling requirements.
? Interact with Engineering/Scientific and publication support personnel to resolve source data issues and inconsistencies and ensure mutual understanding of publication requirements.
? Provide input to production schedules and program planning milestones.
? Respond to internal and external customer/supplier inquiries Interact with other Belcan/customer logistic functional elements to ensure all publication graphic requirements are satisfied.
? Generate/monitor production progress reports; maintain accurate and current status reports, database quality records and files for assigned tasks.
? Other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s Degree in engineering or related field. (Equivalent experience considered)
Experience: Mechanical background, 3-5 years illustration experience to military/commercial specifications. Knowledge of military/commercial hardware. Familiarity with computerized graphics systems (Auto-trol, IOS Draw {required},Adobe, Prime, etc.) required. Strong communication, teamwork and PC skills required.
